May 19, 2017 OXFORD, Ohio - Two-thirds of the entire population of Miami student-athletes finished the spring semester with a 3.0 grade-point average or higher to help the entire group compile a 3.301 GPA in the spring, the second-highest GPA for a single semester in Miami Athletics history.
Miami student-athletes have put up at least a 3.12 GPA in every semester since the 2011 spring semester and 17 of Miami's 19 teams recorded at least a 3.0 combined GPA.
"I like the sense that we are all on the same page at Miami University," said
Craig Bennett, Assistant A.D. for Academic Support Services. "From our diligent students, coaches, faculty, advisers, support staff members, tutors and University President, everyone wants the same result: student success!"
