2017-18: Outdoor – Competed in six meets … placed 12th in the 10,000m (31:54.82) at the MAC Outdoor Championships (5/10-12) … took fifth in the 1500m (3:56.36) at the RedHawk Invitational (4/29) … posted a third-place finish in the 5000m (14:51.54) at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational (3/30-31). Indoor – Appeared in four meets … clocked a season-best 15:09.02 in the 5000m at the Music City Challenge (2/9-10). Cross Country – Raced in seven meets … took 21st (25:24.0) at the MAC Championships (10/28) … finished 84th (32:48.2) at the Great Lakes Regional (11/10).

2016-17: Outdoor – Appeared in six meets … took ninth in the 10,000m (31:51.37) at the MAC Outdoor Championships (5/11-13). Indoor – Ran in two meets … top 5000m time was 15:05.86 at the GVSU Big Meet (2/10-11). Cross Country – Ran in four meets … fastest 8K was 26:10.1 at the Spartan Invitational (9/16).

2015-16: Outdoor – Ran in four meets … took fifth in the 3000m (8:46.55) at the Billy Hayes Invitational (5/6). Indoor – Raced in two meets … finished 18th in the 3000m (8:48.09) at the Ohio State Invitational (2/19).

2014-15: Outdoor – Competed in six meets for the RedHawks … posted his personal best 5000m time at the Kentucky Relays clocking in at 15:25.05 … ran his top 1500m time at the Miami Invitational finishing in 4:07.75 … made his collegiate track debut at the Wake Forrest Open where he finished the 5000m in 15:33.44. Cross Country – Competed in four meets his freshman season … made his debut at the Miami invitational finishing the 5K in 15:38.6 … ran his top 8K time at the All-Ohio Championships where he posted a time of 26:16.6.

High School: Lettered all four years in track and Cross-country at William Mason High School …personal records of 15:50 in the 5k, 9:30 in the 3200 … 3 time state qualifier in cross country also qualified once in track … all-state in cross country … Honor Student.

Personal: Born July 8, 1996 … son of Don and Kathy Thompson … enjoys watching and playing football, basketball, hockey, and soccer … majoring in Bioengineering.
