SCOUTING REPORT: Due to post-season surgery, coaches eased him back into action during spring drills ... he and Mike Johns are deadlocked in a battle to be the team's starting nose tackle ... athletically gifted, he uses his center of gravity to enhance his balance against blockers ... uses his hands well and is very good against the run.

2010: The Windy City junior started the last nine games of the season, earning his third letter ... in 14 games, he recorded 30 tackles and six TFLs, two of which were quarterback sacks ... his ball-stripping tackle late in the Akron game preserved Miami's victory ... Brown and his teammates ranked nationally in rushing defense (25th, 127.6 ypg), 26th in pass efficiency defense (26th) and total defense (28th, 338.2 ypg).

2009: Registered 10 tackles in eight games ... he got his only start at Temple and accumulated a personal-high three tackles ... earned his second varsity letter.

2008: Appeared in nine of the team's 12 games ... top individual effort came against Kent State when he recorded five solo tackles and one assist ... won his first letter.
