Miami Golfers Tied for 12th After Two Rounds at NCAA Central Regional Preview

CHARDON, Ohio--After two rounds at the NCAA Central Regional Preview at Sand Ridge Golf Course in Chardon, Ohio, Miami University's golf team sits in a three-way tie for 12th place among the 17-team field. The RedHawks are tied with Indiana University and Cleveland State University. Senior Matt Thomas fired rounds of 72 and 73 to sit in at tie for 17th place at three-over par 145.
Senior Ryan Swelin is tied for 42nd place after shooting rounds of 77 and 73 to finish at eight-over par 150. Freshman Ben Wood finished on stroke behind Swelin after rounds of 75-76 to tie for 50th place. Freshman Ben Bastel is tied for 73rd place, while freshman Aaron Crist is tied for 79th place.
Miami rounds out its stint at the NCAA Central Regional Preview with Tuesday's final round.
