OXFORD, Ohio – For youths looking to have a fun summer experience while improving their golf game, Miami University is proud to offer the 2010 RedHawk Junior Golf Camp from June 14-18. The camp is for boys and girls ages 12-18 and will be taught by Miami head golf coach Casey Lubahn and assisted by member so the men’s varsity golf team.
The camp costs $595 and is limited to the first 25 participants. Each day will feature range practice, working on chipping, pitching, bunker play and putting. There will be on course play each afternoon as well as skills contests and a Junior RedHawk Tournament on the final day. Evenings will feature a sports psychology clinic, rules and etiquette seminar, course management coaching and free time with friends.
“The RedHawk Junior Golf Camp will be a great opportunity for all juniors a chance to learn the game of golf and improve their skills,” said Lubahn. “The opportunity to learn everything the fundamentals to the advanced shots will lower scores and increase enjoyment. I look forward to camp all year!”
