SKOKIE, Ill.- The Miami University golf team will head to Skokie, Illinois this weekend to compete in the Windon Memorial Classic. The RedHawks will be playing two rounds of 18 holes on Sunday and the final round on Monday. Competing alongside the RedHawks and host Northwestern will be Army, Columbia, Eastern Michigan, Princeton, Northern Illinois, UC Davis, Loyola (Chicago), Marquette, Iowa, Penn State, Indiana, Iowa State, and Wisconsin.
“We have to continue to stay patient. It’s a quick turnaround from Louisville so there is definitely a sense of urgency amongst the team” said head coach Zac Zedrick.
Miami will be playing at the Evanston Golf Club, a par-70 course spanning 6,793 yards.
“The opening stretch is pretty difficult. They are difficult holes but then you start to see a lot of opportunities for birdies” said Zedrick.
Zedrick will be calling upon senior Patrick Flavin, redshirt junior Brian Ohr, sophomore Cam Solomon, and freshman Charlie Nikitas and Jack Herceg.
The RedHawks will tee off beginning at 9 am. Live stats will be available courtesy of GolfStat.com here.
