OXFORD - After its sweep of Lake Superior, Miami owns a five-game winning-streak, the third longest in the nation. Junior goaltender Jeff Zatkoff earned his first shutout of the season, docking the Lakers by a 5-0 score. He has now kept an opponent off of the scoreboard five times during his career at Miami.
The RedHawks are getting geared up to travel as far north as Division I college hockey can take them, as they will face off against Alaska. The journey will see Miami travel over 7,000 miles round-trip. Both games are set for an 11:05 p.m. ET puck drop.
