Hockey Honors Coach Cady During Alumni Weekend

OXFORD, Ohio - An extraordinary contingent of past Miami hockey players representing all eras of the program's history descended onto Oxford to pay tribute to its founder, Coach Steve Cady, during its annual summer alumni weekend.

In addition to the normal festivities of the golf outing and alumni game, Miami's guests attended a celebration dinner for Coach Cady, who ushered the program to varsity status in the 1978-79 season and coached the team through the 1984-85 season. Cady, who has been a fixture in Miami Athletics since stepping away from the bench and is currently the Senior Associate Athletic Director, was on hand for the tribute.
