CLEVELAND, Ohio – Miami University junior goalkeeper Patricia Koutoulas (Toronto, Ontario/Don Mills Collegiate Institute) from the soccer team earned postseason recognition from the Mid-American Conference.
Koutoulas was named Second-Team All-MAC by the league coaches on Thursday, sharing the honors with Buffalo goalkeeper Laura Dougall. The junior finished with 91 saves, the fourth most by a Miami keeper in school history. Her 5.02 saves per match ranked second among MAC keepers as she posted a 1.56 goals against average along with a .758 save percentage while playing every second in goal for the Red and White.
Koutoulas is the first Miami player to earn first or second team All-MAC recognition since 2014 and this is her first time earning postseason accolades from the MAC.
Additionally, Koutoulas is the first Miami goalkeeper to land on an All-MAC team since Krista Pace was a second-team All-MAC pick in 2009.
