CLEVELAND, Ohio – Freshman defender Reagan Fleck (Chanhassen, Minn./Minnetonka) earned some postseason accolades for her solid debut season, representing the Miami soccer team on the Mid-American Conference’s All-Freshman Team, which was announced by the league on Thursday afternoon.

Fleck played in all 19 of the RedHawks’ contests, starting as a center back on 18 occasions. Her 1,598 minutes played were the third most on the team and just 13 minutes shy of the team lead. The Chanhassen, Minn., native helped the Red and White post a 1.04 goals against average for the year while notching seven shutouts.

The MAC revealed all of its postseason award winners on Thursday, with the specialty awards going to Kent State’s Jenna Hellstrom (Offensive Player of the Year), Ball State’s Lorina White (Defensive Player of the Year), Eastern Michigan’s Sabrina McNeil (Freshman of the Year) and Kent State’s Rob Marinaro (Coach of the Year). Fleck is the 17th player in Miami history to earn MAC All-Freshman honors.
