Women's Swimming and Diving Hosts Eastern Michigan

OXFORD, Ohio - Miami women's swimming and diving faces Eastern Michigan on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Nixon Aquatic Center at the Miami Recreational Sports Center.

The RedHawks are currently 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the Mid-American Conference with wins over Xavier and Buffalo. Last weekend the Red and White led from start to finish in the team's MAC-opener against Buffalo. Miami won 14 of the night's 16 events for a 193.5-106.5 win.

Senior Megan Brunn has led the RedHawks this season with four individual wins. Junior Chelsey Bruington and sophomore Leah Thornton have recorded three first-place finishes each.

Eastern Michigan is 0-2 overall and 0-2 in the MAC, having faced Ohio and Ball State to open the season. The Eagles are led by sophomore Brianna Emig, who has finished first five times this season in the distance freestyle events.

Last season, Miami defeated Eastern Michigan 171-129.
