OXFORD, Ohio - After seeing the senior team take a bronze in Berlin last week, Miami's collegiate synchronized skating team resumes its competitive season when it heads to Synchro Illinois this weekend.

The RedHawks are skating their program for the first time since taking second in the Dr. Richard Porter Classic on Dec. 3. At the meet in Ann Arbor, Mich., MU posted a 22-point improvement in its free skate score with an 81.94 to finish second in the meet.

Competition for the collegiate teams begins on Saturday at 11:40 a.m. CT (12:40 p.m. ET).
