OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University senior synchronized skating team continues its run of competitions abroad with the French Cup set to begin this weekend in Rouen, France.

The RedHawks are coming off of a strong performance at the Mozart Cup in Salzburg, Austria, just a few weeks ago. There, Miami earned its second-straight silver medal at the event after posting a season-high mark in its free skate program with a total segment score of 103.66. When merged with their short program results, the Red & White had earned a combined score of 155.8.

Miami kicks off its weekend at the French Cup with a performance of its short program on Friday at approximately 3:50 p.m. ET. On Saturday, the RedHawks will conclude their time at the competition with their free skate. The time for that performance has yet to be determined.

The senior team's last appearance at the French Cup in 2012 saw them finish in fifth place. This is just their second time competing at the event under current head coach Carla DeGirolamo.
