OXFORD, Ohio – All three Miami skating teams are set to be in action this weekend as the RedHawks make their way to the U.S. National Championships in Rockford, Ill.

The senior and junior teams will be performing both their short program and free skate amongst a 10-team field in the senior division, with the top two finishers earning a berth to the ISU World Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo., Apr. 8-9. Last year, the senior group finished second to punch their ticket to Worlds while the junior squad will be moving up from the junior division to gain experience at the higher level.

The collegiate team has its sights set on an unprecedented 13th-straight U.S. National Championship. They already hold the record in U.S. Figure Skating for the most consecutive titles in any discipline of skating at any level. The team is coming off of a gold medal at the Midwestern Championships in late January.

A full schedule of the weekend’s events as it pertains to Miami can be found below. For an even more detailed look, visit the U.S. National Championships homepage.
