The Tennis Recruiting Network has announced that the Miami University tennis program's 2017 recruiting class is ranked 12th among mid-major programs and is the only school from the Mid-American Conference ranked in the top 25.
The rankings, which are based solely on incoming freshman, include five members that will join the RedHawks in the fall. Those names are: Melati Devi, Janelle Ghanem, Priyana Kalita, Milana Lysova and Makenzie Myers.
These five newcomers join a roster that advanced to the MAC Championship match last season and are led by first-year head coach Ricardo Rosas.
"I'm excited to for this group of young ladies to be joining our program in the fall," said Rosas. "The one common denominator out of this group is that they understand the importance of preparation and what it takes to be successful on the court and in the classroom. I am looking forward to the development process and working with them alongside our returners."
