OXFORD, Ohio - After competing in the Meyo Invitational last weekend, the Miami University women's track and field team will travel to Findlay, Ohio to face off in the All Ohio Championships this Friday and Saturday.
Senior Kristina Bolterstein once again had a strong performance as she finished second in the high jump Friday evening with a height of 5-8, matching her height from her previous showing in Kentucky. Only two inches short with a height of 5-6 were junior Katelyn Kelly and sophomore Kristen Matthews who finished in a three-way tie for tenth place.
On Saturday, sophomore Margarita Pogorelov had the best RedHawk finish of the day as she crossed the finish line in 7.61 seconds in the 60-meter dash for sixth place. Pogorelov then went on to a 29th place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.37 seconds.
Miami's 4x400-meter relay team finished 15th in a strong field when they crossed the line at 3:52.26. Jennie Stoll rounded out the afternoon with a time of 5:04.14 in the mile for 29th place.
The next stop for the RedHawk women after their trip to Findlay will be Muncie, Ind. where they will take on Ball State and Western Michigan on Feb. 22.
