OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University volleyball team closes the first half of MAC play with a pair of home matches against foes from up north. 1982 AND DIANA FORD RECOGNITIONS: It's Alumnae Weekend and there will be two important presentations Saturday. It was recently discovered that the MAC recognized regular season results for 1982 after it was long believed that it did not start awarding regular season trophies until 1983. The records showed Miami, which had won the first two MAC tournaments in 1980 and 1981 were the '82 champs with an 8-0 record. They will be honored with a banner unveiling at intermission. In addition, Diana Ford, who was the second head coach in team history from 1976-78, will be recognized for all the contributions she had in building the program.
HISTORY FOR CONDIT?: Miami Head Coach Carolyn Condit stands on the verge of history entering the weekend. She comes into these matches with 599 wins at Miami and 698 wins for her career. She could potentially hit both the 600 and 700 win milestones with victories this weekend.
