OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami University baseball team concluded its 2022 season with a 13-2 loss to the Ball State Cardinals on Saturday afternoon. Miami ends the season 23-33 overall and 18-22 in Mid-American Conference play. Ball State improves to 38-17 overall and 32-7 in MAC play.

How it Happened:

Ball State scored the game's first eight runs, claiming an 8-0 advantage after two innings of play.
A Billy Kopicki single in the third brought home two runs to cut BSU's lead to 8-2.
The Cardinals added a run in the fifth inning and four more in the sixth to end the contest after seven innings of action.
